Robin is our project surveyor and technical expert. He has been messing around with blinds for well over 25 years and you’d be hard-pressed to find something he doesn’t know. He is our ‘go to’ for anything techy and likes to test new shading control systems, motors and software to breaking point. More often than not, you will hear Robin before seeing him in his ‘Tornado Red’ VW Golf R. Just a bit of a petrolhead.
More About Robin
Q: Describe your average day.
- I don’t do average! I can spend a day in the office quoting customers and discussing technical problems, or travelling the UK from Scotland down to the South Coast, meeting new customers, discussing technical queries on site, programming control systems or just simply doing a survey for manufacture.
Q: If you weren’t at work, where would you be?
- Either at home gardening or if it’s warm, on a sunny beach with the kids.
Q: What do you consider to be the world’s greatest invention?
- Probably the printing press (1439), this laid the foundation of the modern society by allowing education for everyone.
Q: Fun fact! (about you or anything)
- The name for the shape of Pringles is called a ‘Hyperbolic Paraboloid’.
