The project involved the demolition of an existing 1960’s student accommodation block and its replacement with a new building comprising 84 en-suite student bedrooms.

InterLace designed, manufactured and installed blackout and sheer curtains throughout all student rooms. Student rooms occupy the first and second floors, and their geometry is cleverly used to ensure appropriate privacy while retaining a feeling of openness and light. Curtains were the perfect solution, maximising natural light during the day, and maximising privacy during the night.
